Birmingham Wheels - WHEEL NUTS JAM - This Weekend!
Birmingham Wheels are holding a dirt jump and BMX flatland jam at the Wheels Park on May the 18th 2008. It is open to all ages and all abilities to enter. The dirt jam will take place on the newly built tabletops, doubles and wooden kickers in the Bike Park. Everyone riding on the day will be split into age groups of under16’s, 16-30’s and 30+ it is open to BMX and Mountainbikes (20" 24" 26" fully rigid or full suspension). Then it is up to you to decide what line you chose to ride on your runs, judging will be relaxed as it is a jam so who knows who will win! We will be also running a winner takes all high jump comp, £3 per rider to enter and the rider to clear the highest pole setting takes all the cash!! The flatland jam will take place on the infield of the Speedskating track and will include some of the countries best riders! So well worth coming to see their amazing riding abilities and if you’re up for it why not take part and learn a few tricks from the masters as it is open to all abilities from beginners to experts. There should be a bunny hop comp to take part in as well as other fun happenings throughout the day! There will be music playing, refreshments available, a bike work shop and spares stand to help the day go smoothly. For entering the dirt jam the entry fee will be £8 for the whole days riding – morning practice available on day.
